What is WSWHE BOCES?
The Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex Board of Cooperative Educational Services (WSWHE BOCES) serves 31 school districts in a five-county region. The BOCES Board of Education, a governing board made up of representatives from component school districts, is responsible for the oversight of curricular, financial and other policy decisions. The chief executive officer of a BOCES is the District Superintendent who works closely with local school districts as a liaison/agent of the New York State Commissioner of Education.

Myers Center Honors Exceptional Learners at Year-End Celebration
Friends, family, faculty and administrators gathered June 12 at the F. Donald Myers Education Center to celebrate the accomplishments of students in the Exceptional Learners Division as they completed their high school programs.

77 Students Graduate from Early College Career Academy
Seventy-seven students from 18 school districts were honored June 5 at the Early College Career Academy (ECCA) Completion Ceremony, celebrating their hard work, achievements and bright futures. The event, held in partnership between WSWHE BOCES and SUNY Adirondack, welcomed families, friends, faculty, staff, Board of Education members and special guests to recognize the Class of 2025.
CTE Signing Day Celebrates Students Entering the Workforce
Similar to special events for high school athletes signing commitment letters to colleges where they will play sports, or high school seniors donning collegiate shirts from the colleges where they have been accepted on designated college acceptance days, the WSWHE BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) program recognized 65 high school CTE students and adult students in its programs who will go directly into the workforce by holding a CTE Signing Day on June 4 at the WSWHE BOCES Conference Center.

District-wide School Safety Plan
New York State School Districts and BOCES are required to develop a district-wide school safety plan designed to prevent or minimize the effects of serious violent incidents and emergencies and to facilitate the coordination of the district with local and county resources in the event of such incidents or emergencies.
